Farm to Pantry | The Wholesome Pet Co. – The Wholesome Pet Company

A Direct Line from Farm to Pantry

We believe the best nutrition is found close to home.

By sourcing ingredients from Canadian suppliers, we're able to maintain higher quality standards, greater transparency, and stronger relationships throughout our supply chain.

Keeping production local also supports Canadian communities while reducing the environmental impact of long-distance transportation.

Our goal is simple: create a direct connection between responsible Canadian agriculture and the dogs who enjoy our products every day.

Quality You Can See

We focus on simple ingredients, small-batch production, and processes that preserve the natural integrity of every treat.

Small Batch Crafted

By moving away from industrial mass production, we maintain the nutritional integrity of every batch.

Human-Grade Quality

We apply the same rigorous quality controls to our treats that you expect for your own food.

No Fillers. No Additives

Our fillets are Non-GMO and naturally free from glycerin, grain, gluten, artificial flavours, and preservatives.

100% Canadian Sourced

By sourcing 100% of our ingredients from local Canadian farms, we significantly reduce carbon emissions.

A Commitment Beyond the Bag

Biodegradable packaging

From local sourcing practices to compostable packaging initiatives, we're continually looking for ways to reduce waste and lessen our environmental footprint. Sustainability isn't a feature or marketing claim. It's part of our responsibility as a Canadian company and part of our promise to future generations.

What We Believe

We believe dogs deserve better.

Better ingredients.
Better transparency.
Better standards.

We believe pet owners should know exactly what they're buying and where it comes from. We believe quality comes from thoughtful sourcing, careful craftsmanship, and a willingness to do things properly, even when it's harder.

Most importantly, we believe trust is earned.

One ingredient.
One batch.
One bag at a time.
